The man accused of killing former DFL House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark worked briefly at the University of Minnesota until the day before the June 14 attacks. According to documents obtained by MPR News, Vance Boelter worked as a recovery technician until June 13.

🚧 Major freeway closures planned in Twin Cities this weekend

Closures will affect parts of Interstates 35W and 494 in Richfield and Bloomington, as well as a stretch of Interstate 94 in St. Paul. All the closures are set to begin at 10 p.m. Friday, and wrap up by 5 a.m. Monday.
