Sign the petition against cuts to federal funding of public media

Minnesota Public Radio’s music and news services are critical to Minnesotans. The White House is seeking the elimination of $1.1 billion for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which funds MPR and other local stations, as well as NPR and PBS. The White House has just delivered its proposed budget to Congress, so Congress needs to hear from you urgently.

You count on MPR, and MPR will continue to serve you and your neighbors, but this action would have a devastating impact on the entire public media network and erode the services that you and so many others rely on. Now is the time to use your voice to oppose cuts to federal funding of public media.

Sign the petition to oppose the White House proposal to defund the CPB and we will deliver the petition to the White House and Congress. Take a stand for the public media you rely on.

No cuts to federal funding for public media

I oppose the actions being proposed to defund the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. The continued federal funding of public media, including Minnesota Public Radio, is important to me. MPR is a vital community resource providing music and local news across Minnesota, as well as emergency alerts. Federal funding for public media must be continued.
